International Golden Rod Film Festival calls for short international films, short international documentaries, short Turkish films, short Turkish documentaries, and feature films. Filmmakers working all genre are invited to submit their work for the festival’s new edition.
At the International Golden Rod Film Festival, producers of films in the official selection will have the opportunity to meet with the content team of Moviax, Turkey’s new digital platform and one of the festival’s corporate supporters to explore potential collaboration opportunities.
The juries, with the help of the evaluation chart provided by the festival organization, give separate scores for each film after watching it—evaluating the film itself, screenplay, director’s performance, cinematography, acting performance, music, and sound design. Using the scores from this chart, the winners in each category are determined fairly.
New edition of the International Golden Rod Film Festival will take place from February 4 to 7, 2027, in Istanbul, Turkiye.
In order to be eligible for selection, films must be produced from 2023 to the present.
